~SOLD~RCAF LOG BOOK GROUPING C
Up for your consideration, a very interesting grouping to a RCAF WOP W.T. Smale. An extensive grouping including his log books, starting as a LAC in the summer of 1941 at Thunder Bay Air Training School Ltd and 20N EFTS Fort William,Ont. Flying Tiger Moths. Training continues through 1942/43 and 1944. In May of 1944 he is posted to No.7 (0) AFU in Bishops Court N. Ireland and No.24 O.T.U. Honeybourne continuing training until Feb.1945 when he is sent to 431Squadron, participating in 11ops.
The grouping is a virtual time caspual, numerous documents from enlistment to discharge, notebooks regarding training and personal everyday items.
I have taken quite a few pictures to give you an idea of the extent of the grouping and have broken them down into three groupings.
